We have been in search of the perfect place to make going out for a burger and beer feel like a dining experience and Henry Street Taproom has done it!!! Best burgers I've had in years. Everything tasted so fresh and the caramelized onions were truly caramelized not just sautéed. The market salad was also very good. Dan, our server gave us great beer and food selections and was extremely personable too. I highly recommend putting this on your list. We will be back for sure.

We stopped here the day of the FlavorFest, so we didn't eat. The bartender was helpful, explaining the different beers and the beers were very good. The interior is cool and we scored the seats at the across from the bar, facing the street, with the windows wide open. Best seats in the house on a gorgeous day!

Run to the Henry Street Taproom while the weather is perfect so you do not miss an incredible dining experience.
We were walking downtown looking for some place new (to us) to try when the ambiance drew me into one of the most charming eateries I've encountered since the Wine Kitchen in Leesburg, VA. The menu had a similar feel to WK too, with the exception of the dessert menu.
I loved the street corn. I am a huge fan of charred/grilled corn and this dish made me very happy. The other two dishes were ordered from the chalkboard at the back of the restaurant. The salad of the day was my favorite choice...salad greens, topped with thin delicate beet spirals (I adore the earthy taste of beets) and filled with the most incredible treasures. A nice funky bleu cheese gave just the right amount of fat to the fresh greens. The pepitas added crunch and the roasted cherry tomatoes provided a wonderful acidic note that was complimented by the tangy vinagrette.
Chorizo tacos with crema and corn salsa was the final dish. The chorizo had a light spicyness that paired well with the corn salsa. My only critque would be that the tacos would have been transformed by some fresh cilantro.
Water was served in a glass bottle with brandy snifters. I liked that touch.
The service was incredible and very friendly. Sometimes you just get that feeling of being valued as a customer, it is rare and wonderful.
The fauna, the flora, the wood, the chalkboard, the worn arm chairs and the perfect weather made this dining experience unbelievably charming. I will be back.... -

I have been meaning to try Henry Street Taproom for quite some time...because cramming into the place to snag a beer during Chowder Fest doesn't count, right?
Instead, my friend and I came here after a 13-mile hike. Needless to say we were slightly starved. The place was packed, so be prepared to wait. We were lucky and got two seats at the window. Great beer selection, I got a Peekskill Brewery IPA on tap (always love seeing my downstate roots in upstate NY.)
I ordered the Taproom Burger. They didn't asked me how I'd like it cooked but I went with it. It came out medium and cooked perfectly. Typically I'm a medium-rare gal but I wasn't mad about it. It was delicious! The caramelized onions, in combination with the cheese and whatever the "special" sauce was, was wonderful. The brioche bun it was served on was toasted and buttery, too. I'm not really a lover of french fries, except on occasion. I ate almost all of these; crispy, homemade and so good!
Our server was very attentive, despite the fact that the place was packed. I can't wait to come back to try other items. The Chalkboard specials listed on the menu are actually specials...on their chalkboard in the restaurant and not exactly on the menu. They all looked excellent. I also want to get into a charcuterie and cheese board next time, as the options sounded great. -

Simple yet awesome beer selection, great service and delicious food... The farm toast special (chevre pumpkin and smoked almond) was the best
